Frequently asked questions

10 answers to the things people ask us most.

General

How do I know if I have a hidden leak?

Warning signs include an unexplained jump in your water bill, warm spots on the floor, musty smells, or the meter moving while everything is off.

Do you offer commercial maintenance contracts?

Yes. We build scheduled maintenance plans with backflow testing, priority response, and compliance documentation for facilities and multi-unit properties.

Services

My drain keeps clogging. What can I do?

Recurring clogs usually point to buildup further down the line or root intrusion. A camera inspection finds the real cause so a single visit fixes it for good.

Should I get a tank or tankless water heater?

Tankless units save space and energy and last longer, but cost more up front. Tanks are cheaper to install and simpler to service. We size both to your household before you decide.

How long should a water heater last?

A well-maintained tank heater lasts 8–12 years; tankless units often reach 20. Annual flushing meaningfully extends both.

Why does my house smell like sewage?

A sewer odor often means a dry P-trap, a failed wax ring, or a venting problem. We locate the source with a camera and smoke test rather than guessing.

How long does a whole-home repipe take?

Most homes are repiped in 2–4 days. We stage the work so you keep water service overnight wherever possible.

Pricing

Do you charge extra for after-hours work?

Emergency and after-hours calls carry a surcharge on top of the standard estimate. The exact percentage is shown up front before any work begins.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major cards, ACH, and check. Financing is available on larger installations.

Emergency

How fast can you respond to an emergency?

For active leaks and floods we dispatch immediately and typically arrive within 30–60 minutes depending on your service area.
